Shamushim Services, operated by Shamushim Production LLC ("we", "us"), manages maintenance and upkeep for synagogue buildings. This policy explains what information we collect from members, customers and staff who use our office phone line, text messaging, customer portal and staff app at tasks.shamushimservices.com, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Contact details — your name, mobile phone number, email address (if you give it to us) and the synagogue you belong to.
- Requests — the maintenance requests you send us by text message, phone, the customer portal or in person, including any photos you attach, and our replies and updates.
- Staff information — for our employees: name, mobile number, work location and the tasks assigned to and completed by them.
How we use it
- To receive, track and carry out maintenance requests, and to keep you updated on their progress.
- To file your requests under the right synagogue and route them to the right person.
- To send our staff their daily task list and work updates.
- To keep records of work done, purchases made and vendors used.
Text messaging (SMS)
When you text our office number, (845) 622-8484, you agree to receive text messages from us about your request: a confirmation, status updates and questions about the work. Staff members who choose to may also receive their daily task list by text. Texting is always optional: consent to receive text messages is never a condition of receiving our services, using the portal or employment — you can call the office or use the customer portal instead. Message frequency varies by request. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share your phone number, your messages or your consent to receive texts with any third party for their own purposes. We share information only with the people who need it to do the work you asked for (our staff and, where needed, the vendor doing a repair), and with service providers that run our systems on our behalf (such as our hosting and text-messaging providers), who may use it only to provide those services to us.
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored on secured servers, accessible only to authorized staff with a password. We keep request history so we can look back at what was done at each building; you may ask us to delete your contact details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop texting you, by replying STOP, calling (845) 622-8484, or asking any member of our office staff.
